| opmerkingen | 26-29 April, Eibergen, Berkelland, Gelderland, photographed, sound-recorded, videoed (R Wantia et al; Dutch Bird ing 31: 204, plate 235-236, 2009). The two individuals together Eibergen and Molenheide, more than 100 km inland, constituted one of the most extraordinary records of 2009. The birds were not immediately recognized by the discoverer who uploaded the photograph to www.waarneming.nl, after which they were identified by astonished 'internet birders'. The April record concerned a nicely showing individual even further inland, staying for a few days at a private garden. Annual Report 2009. | |
