| opmerkingen | 11-12 April, Marnewaard, Lauwersmeer, Het Hogeland GR, adult, later also seen in Germany and Denmark, photographed (@ identification accepted and the committee agreed that there were no clear signs of a captive origin. However, the vagrancy potential to northern Europe has yet to be substantiated for this species, which is also regularly kept in captivity in several European countries. A cautious approach was therefore chosen, and it was rejected until more is known about its migratory and straggling behaviour. This view was shared by the German and Danish rarities committees, which placed the record in ‘category D’. | |
