| opmerkingen | photographed. 14 out of the now 31 records are from the coastal zone of the North Sea bordering the Wadden Sea islands. A few sites on the eastern islands are among the very few areas in the country where big rafts of scoters occasionally come close enough to the shore to obtain decent views. This year’s flock of four is only surpassed in size by five birds at neighbouring Terschelling, Friesland, in November-December 2000. | |
