| opmerkingen | 2-7 November, Westkapelle, Veere, Zeeland, male, photographed (P Beeke et al; Dutch Birding 36: 58, plate 72-73, 2014). This is the eighth record of the species and seventh since 1995. Constantine et al (2012) explain what the differences are between two subspecies: Atlantic Dartford Warbler S u dartfordiensis and Mediterranean Dartford Warbler S u undata. This individual could be identified as Atlantic and therefore constitutes a new taxon for the Netherlands. A review of all previous seven Dartford records is currently in progress to determine to which subspecies they belong. Annual Report 2013. | |
