| opmerkingen | 6-28 June, Hoorn, Terschelling, Friesland, photographed, sound-recorded (D Groenendijk et al). The record on Terschelling concerns a date extension for a bird earlier accepted for 6-24 June (Ovaa et al 2012). Good-quality sound-recordings are essential to get reports accepted, preferably of both song and call. Regularly, birds that sound like Iberian Chiffchaff are not accepted because they do not show all characters for the species (ie, song consisting of three parts within the right frequency band).
