| opmerkingen | 11-18 April, Workumerwaard, Nijefurd, Friesland, adult, photographed (J Bisschop, S Bernardus, E de Weerd). After a review of all submitted records, only the above records remain accepted as Hutchins's Canada Goose (but the Workumerwaard bird had not been published before). Other previously accepted records (cf Wiegant et al 1996, 1998) therefore no longer remain accepted, mostly because a hybrid origin or identification as Intermediate Canada Goose B canadensis parvipes could not entirely be ruled out (Berlijn & CDNA in press). The (previously accepted) records that have been rejected after review are: 12 January 1992, Oudemirdum, Gaasterlân-Sleat, Friesland; 23-30 January 1994, Wonneburen and Piaam, Wûnseradiel, Friesland; 22 February 1996, Aijen, Bergen, Limburg (two); 12-13 May 1996, Workumerwaard, Nijefurd, Friesland; and 28-29 December 1996, Dirksland, Zuid-Holland (five).
