This bird was most welcome to a ‘new generation of birders’ because the previous one was in October 1994. Interestingly, it also came a year after the first African Desert Warbler S deserti. As so often with vagrants of particularly this species, it was ridiculously confiding and provided many visitors extremely close-up views. Annual Report 2015.
